UCE’s Veterans Day 2022
Thank you to our UCE families – we had such fantastic support that we were able to host 175 for our Veterans Day program!!
We were so fortunate to have had 75 Veterans come and celebrate with 90 of our UCE students!! (and thank you to the remaining few guests who didn’t mind squeezing in our space!)
Mrs. Willis and the UCE choir sang perfectly for us -WHS student Allison Serrano played her bugle brilliantly and the Valparaiso VFW Post 988 was generous enough to provide the Presentation & Retiring of the Colors and the Flag Folding Ceremony for our program.
We had families contribute their time, great food, and perfect decorations. We had families who were unable to help in these ways, but who still wanted to support our program, make financial contributions.
It doesn’t matter how you contributed – we are grateful to each of you for supporting us, UCE, and our Veterans Day program – it was perfect.
